Description

The Beaumont Inventory Management Analyst ensures accurate and timely ticketing of Beaumont Terminal oil movements and inventory reporting. In addition, this role works to resolve issues/discrepancies on customer accounts through collaboration with multiple teams.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Preparing volumetric accounting documents associated with the receipt/delivery of crude oil, petrochemicals, and refined products received/shipped via ship, barge, pipeline, truck and rail at the Beaumont Terminal.

  • Utilizing API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards and Company best practices to conduct custody transfer business.

  • Engaging appropriate parties to resolve measurement/quality issues.

  • Liaison with Phillips 66 and customer Loss Control Groups.

  • Utilize the Midstream accounting system (W Energy) to complete all entries for inventory, transaction tickets, and reconciliations for pipelines and tanks.

  • Providing customers daily inventory information and assisting in the preparation of customer Statements of Account for all terminal activities.

  • Providing prompt and excellent service to both internal and external customers

Position Requirements

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Associates degree in Business or a related/applicable field

  • 2 or more years of industry related experience such as Accounting, Finance or Terminal Operations

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 or more years of experience in a customer service position

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Self-starter with the ability to analyze and interpret data and assist in delivering reports per customer requests

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Prioritizes work so that the most critical areas and issues are addressed on a timely basis

  • Attention to details ensuring correct records of volumetric activity

Midstream

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 21,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from a refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
