The Director, Marketing Operations works to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. This role requires complex data analyses that helps develop informed strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the business. It is a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects, agency partners, customers, and internal stakeholders. The Director, Marketing Operations has responsibility for planning, processes, infrastructure, research and analysis to help ensure success of the Brand Management team. This role also plays a key role in maintaining trademark licensing and compliance by working with legal on trademark issues that arise.
Responsibilities May Include
Oversee the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software (Schoox, Salesforce, future state D&B)
Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
Utilize and manage core marketing technologies and platforms, including Marketo, WordPress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and the Adobe Creative Suite to support all Marketing Operations efforts
Maintain Launch Point applications and integrations within Marketo (AdBridge)
Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team
Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance
Track campaign metrics using Marketing tracking scripts (munchkin codes) and Google Analytics
Regularly perform database maintenance – review MADB information that comes into Marketo every week
Review integration set up with MADB periodically to ensure data is flowing into Marketo
Manage campaign tracking metrics using Marketing tracking scripts (munchkin codes) and Google Analytics
Manage agency partners and vendors that support lead generation activities
Responsibility to manage the business relationship with Schoox. Includes updates, business reviews and coordinating contract negotiations with procurement.
Primary Administrator for the platform and the interface with our customers. Responsible to manage the content on the site and to ensure access by our customers is monitored and controlled.
Coordinate content development and deployment with the Sales Team and the Technical Service team
Manage and execute sales support materials for Finished Lubricants Sales organization in various industries
Manage development of industry-specific presentations through providing strategic direction and a professional eye
Provide marketing direction to Phillips 66 Base Oils and Excel Paralubes businesses that results in leads through various media and campaign efforts as well as providing marketing communications and website oversight.
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing or engineering)
5 or more years of direct marketing or sales experience in the petroleum industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Lubricants Business Acumen – Previous experience with Lubricants' products and business
15 years of direct marketing/sales experience in the petroleum industry
Communication skills: Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure common understanding with multiple levels of management and demonstrate the ability to present/influence others
Planning and organizational skills are required in order to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in PowerPoint, Business Warehouse and other proprietary Internet applications
Creative & Innovative – must be able to see the big picture and also work multiple details
Collaboration: At least 3 years’ experience building or participating in work teams where trust and cooperation was necessary to group success at delivering results
Leadership – candidate must have demonstrated ability to use strong interpersonal skills and lead /guide others toward desired results
Independent Producer – individual must be able to work individually without constant supervision
Influencing others: at least 1 year of experience working with Influence Management, such as conflict resolution and leading internal/external resources to achieve goals
