The Pricing Analyst, Global will be part of an international team providing single point of contact to the business for forward price curve designs, price validation and curve uploads as required for the Phillips 66 Commercial organization. This includes coordinating with IT support groups to ensure that the "right prices are delivered to the right systems at the right time". The price curves will service our Houston, London and Asia trade portfolios. This role is critical to the daily Profit / Loss and global Value at Risk calculations.
Responsibilities May Include
Designing and maintaining price curves for the US, London and Asia portfolios.
Working with systems support teams to ensure that curve requests are completed in a timely manner and that curves perform per customer expectations.
Performing end of day manual curve uploads and developing quality assurance checks to ensure that manual prices are correct for overnight business processes.
Driving consistency in curve designs across different target systems and regions.
Designing time adjusted price curves to ensure traders in different regional offices have locally timed price curves for Profit / Loss and Risk measurement.
Working with IT to automate price delivery into the target systems and reduce the number of curves that require manual loading.
Working with Position Control, Risk and Finance analysts to review Profit/Loss, Mark to Market and VaR results for accuracy regarding the input prices.
Maintaining data on manually loaded curves for periodic audit inquiries
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
1 or more years of experience reviewing, building or validating price curves
1 or more years of experience working with position valuation calculations
Excellent interpersonal and team skills
Detail oriented and organized
Strong customer service focus
3 or more years of experience with the mid/back office responsibilities of an energy trading firm
Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management systems (ETRMs) and associated supporting software (Solarc, OpenLink, Aligne, Morningstar/LIM, SAP)
Ability to provide pricing support on all days that commercial conducts business (will include some corporate holidays)
Proficiency maintaining complex Excel models that use Visual Basic
