The Robotics Process Automation Technical Lead is responsible for delivery of successful RPA projects, efficient and reliable solution operations, and technical compliance across the Corporate Staffs organization, in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The RPA Tech Lead will work at the enterprise level to enable self-service automation adoption, build organizational knowledge, explore novel RPA techniques, create technical standards, and evangelize RPA solutions in user communities.
Position can be based in Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX.
Responsibilities May Include
Consult on project initiatives to explore technical solutions to novel and challenging RPA problems
Establish trust with business customers and evaluate requirements to propose best in class combination of automation technologies to solve business problems and optimize process
Design and develop new RPA solutions in conjunction with IT project teams according to standards and to meet the need for workflow automation according to requirements
Create business process maps and whiteboard solution designs with developers and customers
Maintain project onboarding and execution processes leveraging an agile Kanban methodology to deliver as a team while balancing business priorities and operational responsibilities
Evangelize RPA solutions and adoption in user communities across the organization leveraging diverse toolsets including Automation Anywhere, Alteryx, GoAnywhere, OCR, Power Automate, ServiceNow, Tableau, WinShuttle, and scheduling tools
Inventory and communicate value metrics, stories, and results to stakeholders across the enterprise
Steward and socialize RPA playbook documentation and use cases to facilitate appropriate utilization of automation technology across the enterprise
Establish service level objectives in conjunction with business and IT stakeholders
Create and maintain Automation Anywhere best practices and coding standards as well as establish governance with corporate and stream IT teams
Generate assurance through code review and governance processes that solutions are developed according to standard and can be operated reliably by enterprise resources
Build and execute training programs for new developers across RPA platforms and teams
Technical screening of supplemental and contract labor resources
Partner with IT technology suppliers and business partners that provide technologies, services, and support in the automation domain
Establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationship with business and IT teams
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or IT related
Ability and willingness to provide ad hoc emergency solution and platform support
3 or more years of IT solution development experience
1 or more years of experience developing and building RPA solutions with Automation Anywhere or Power Automate
1 or more years of working experience with database technologies including MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostrgreSQL
6 or more of months experience with data preparation tools including Microsoft Excel and Alteryx
6 or more months of experience using self-service reporting tools including Tableau and Power BI
6 or more months of experience leveraging Azure Dev Ops for agile project execution and code deployment
Experience leveraging enterprise scheduling tools such as Control-M or Tidal for solution delivery
Exposure to managed file transfer technologies GoAnywhere, FTP, SFTP, AS2, etc.
Familiarity and understanding of application APIs including SOAP, REST, etc.
Familiarity and understanding of data integration and queuing technologies including ActiveMQ, Informatica, and MuleSoft or equivalent cloud native toolsets
Strong interpersonal skills, around problem and conflict resolution
Strong oral and written communication skills - business focused and able to communicate effectively & collaborate across organization levels
Ability to work independently, as contributor on a team, and take leadership roles when required
Effective time management, work prioritization, and escalation skills
